I’m licensed in NY and NJ as Licensed Mental Health Counselor in , with diagnostic privileges (LMHC-D), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), respectively.

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology, minoring in African American Studies as well as Public Health, from Syracuse University. I also hold master's degree in Mental Health counseling from CUNY Brooklyn College. I am certified in Somatic EMDR and board certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors as National Certified Counselor. As a trauma-focused therapist, I support BIPOC and first-gen adults in NY and NJ facing burnout, stress, depression, and feeling stuck. Using EMDR and other evidence-based and holostic strategies, I help you move beyond just surviving to living fully. In a safe, trusting virtual space, we work together at your pace to heal and build lasting emotional strength.

My treatment approach is centered around client-centeredness, ensuring that the pace of the process aligns with their comfort level. I prioritize client safety and establish trust through open and honest communication. This therapeutic space is designed to foster a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings throughout the treatment journey.

At Farada Mental Health, my mission is to help people overcome challenges by utilizing the tools they learn in therapy to live fulfilling, empowered lives. As a BIPOC and first-generation young adult, I understand firsthand the unique obstacles and doubts that can make healing feel out of reach. My goal is to create a supportive space where individuals can access innovative therapies like EMDR and personalized group or individual support, fostering resilience and a lasting sense of well-being. Together, we will break barriers and redefine what is possible on the journey to recovery.
